Lawrence Thomas Mellon

November 4, 1963 — March 31, 2018

Lawrence "Larry" Mellon, a resident of Middletown, NY, passed peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus, surrounded by his loving friends and family on March 31, 2018. Lawrence's greatest passion was his love of the New York Yankees and the Giants. Super Bowl Sunday and his birthday were the highlights of his year. His smiling and joyful heart will always be with us. And we will all be his best friend forever. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents, Kay and Daniel Mellon, Jr., as well as by his brother Dan. Lawrence is survived by his sister, Laurie Mellon of Monroe, NY; his sister-in-law Vivian Mellon of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; his niece Tanya and grandniece Valentia; his Aunt Margie of Florida; and by his many loving cousins, his dear friends, and his little Scotty dog, Bonnie Blue. A special thank you goes to the personnel at old St Theresa's Facility and Crystal Run, who took care of him through his long illness. In lieu of flowers, the Mellon family would appreciate donations made in Lawrence's name to the Nora Cronin Presentation Academy, 69 Bay View Terrace, Newburgh, NY 12550. Visitation will be held on Friday April 6, 2018 during the hours of 10:30 to 11:30 AM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc. located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Friday April 6, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, located at 26 Still Road, Monroe, New York. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F.
