January 21, 1963 — February 8, 2023

On Wednesday, February 8th, 2023, John P Mazeski of Monroe, NY, a beloved father and brother, passed away at age sixty.
Born to Frank and Edith, John is survived by his three sons, Jason and his wife Christine, Daniel and his wife Lydia, grandson Tyler and granddaughter Piper, and Joseph, along with his siblings Frank and wife Jackie, Jimmy and wife Margaret, Joanne and husband Mike, and Mary.
John was raised in Woodside, Queens, and moved his family to Orange County, NY, in 1994.
He was an elevator mechanic for public housing for thirty-five years. He loved his job and often put his co-workers well-being before his own.
Johnny enjoyed spending time with his sons, watching his favorite movies, and looking forward to retiring to Florida. His grandchildren were his world, and he loved spending time seeing them grow. He brought a smile to the faces of everyone he met and would do everything and anything to help others.
Big poppa John was taken far too early from us, and he will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.
Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon, with an 12:00 PM Life Celebration and Prayer Service at the Funeral Home.
Cremation will follow at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY, under the immediate care and supervision of Thomas & Brendan Flynn.
