Cyril Peter Geoghegan was a devoted husband, caring father, proud grandfather, and Carpenter who touched the hearts of many. He was born on January 26, 1960, in Ballybeg, Ireland, and peacefully passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 64 in Pearl River, New York. He battled Lung Cancer but remained surrounded by his loving family until the end.
Cyril leaves behind a rich legacy that will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him. He was preceded by his parents, Patrick and Margaret Lyons Geoghegan, as well as his beloved wife, Angela ("GAILIA") Eileen Hogan Geoghegan, who passed away on August 14, 2018.
He is survived by their children Christopher, Daniel, Julie-Anna, Gisela, and Linsey Geoghegan. Cyril also leaves six adoring grandchildren: Roisin, Aine, Fiona, Travis, Liam, and Hugh. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by several nieces and nephews who admired him greatly.
Visitation services to honor Cyril's life will be held on July 9, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers in Monroe, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. (845-783-1811)
A Funeral Mass will follow on July 10 at 10:00 AM at St. Aiden's R.C. Church, 23 Reld Drive, Pearl River, N.Y. (845-735-7405).
Burial will take place in Ireland on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
Cyril Peter Geoghegan's kindness and craftsmanship touched the lives of many around him. His dedication to his family and passion for work will always be remembered with love and respect. May his soul rest in peace as we carry forward the memories of a remarkable man who brought joy and warmth to all he met.

The Geoghegan family has entrusted Cyril's care to Brendan and Thomas Flynn, as well as the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.
