Yuriy Sokow of Monroe, NY, died peacefully on August 4, 2022, at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, N.Y.He was 85 years of age.Yuriy was a retired Geologist.He is survived by his daughters Larisa Chizhov and Tatyana Miterina, along with many other family members here and abroad.Family visitation will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 3:00 at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.Cremation will follow at Oxford Hills Crematory under the immediate care and supervision of Thomas & Brendan Flynn.Funeral care is under the guidance of the Flynn Family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.
