March 23, 1955 — January 18, 2025

William O'Donnell of Harriman, NY, died at Nyack Hospital on January 18, 2025, at 69 years old. 

The son of the late Robert and Ruth (Purtill), he was born on March 23, 2025, in New York City.

William worked as a carpenter for 30 years.

Billy loved his family and friends. He would go out of his way for anyone he could. He loved watching and playing all sports, especially football and the NY Yankees. He loved being from Highbridge.

William is survived by his son, William (Mary Ellen) of Rockaway Beach, and his grandchildren, William and Wyatt. His siblings, Kathy Blake and Richard O'Donnell (Sharon), also survive him.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Deidre, who passed away in 2010, and his brother, Robert O'Donnell. 

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11 am at Saint Barnabas R.C. Church, 409 E 241st St, Bronx, NY 10470.

Cremation care will be provided under the immediate care and supervision of Brendan & Thomas Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Chester, NY. 

William's family entrusted his care to the Flynn family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center's staff.
