Tulasi Mallina, a 10-year resident of Monroe, NY, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 87 years old. She was born in India on August 13, 1937, and was the widow of Vengarao Mallina. 

Tulasi was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother with amazing cooking skills. People sought her advice, and she was a respected individual in her community in India. Her family is in the USA, and India will miss her immensely. 

Tulasi is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anantha Meka and Venkata Meka; her sons Ram Mohan Rao, Lakshman Rao, and Veera Prasad; her grandchildren, Sujana Meka and Rajana Meka; and her great-grandchildren Abhijit, Pranavi, and Aakash. 

Services will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York.

The family entrusted Tulasi's care to the Flynn Family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center staff.

Cremation care for Tulasi will be provided by Brendan & Thomas Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY.
