Robert Hartin, a longtime resident of Monroe, NY, died peacefully on June 13, 2023, at Garnett Medical Center in Wallkill, N.Y.
Robert was 83 years of age.
Robert was the son of Bernard and Beatrice Hartin.
He was born in New York City on March 21, 1940.
He retired from Long Island Railroad as an Electrician.
Robert was the widow of Julia Hartin, who died on February 22, 2018.
Robert is survived by his children Julia McCarthy, her husband Kenny Harbus, and his son Brain R. Hartin, along with his grandchildren Kenna, Selena, Sierra and Brenden, and his beloved sister Patricia Ryan of Pearl River, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Julia, and his sister Deborah Marie Hartin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery with Military Honors.Brendan and Thomas Flynn and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center staff have provided funeral arrangements and care.
