Richard W. Ihde, aged 73, of Chester, NY died peacefully at home on May 19, 2018. He was born in Flushing, New York in 1945. He was a Textile Finisher Foreman for Newburgh Moire, Inc. in Jersey City, NJ. He was the son of Henry Martin Ihde and Theresa Loretta McGinn. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Lynn Ihde and their three children: Michael H. Ihde of Northport, AL, Thomas G. Ihde of Rock Tavern, NY, and Kristin L. Ihde of Chester, NY, as well as four nieces and three nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, during the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 3 Hudson Street, Chester, NY 10918. Inurnment will follow at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY. Memorial contributions in Richard's name to Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Research would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F.
