Richard Thomas Murphy of Monroe, New York, a 39-year resident of the area, died on August 11, 2022, at 72 years of age.
Richard was born on December 13, 1949, to James and Winifred Murphy in New York.
Richard was an account representative for Proctor & Gamble, a member of the Cardinal Hayes Alumni, and a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle.
Richard was predeceased by his wife, Margaret-Mary Murphy.
He is survived by his children, Thomas and his wife Kimberlee Murphy, Ann-Marie Murphy, and Daniel Murphy. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Mason, Jack, & Ryan Murphy, and siblings Christopher Murphy, Kathleen Fee, & Patricia Varipapa, and twelve nieces and nephews also survive him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 11:00 am, in Sacred Heart R.C. Church located at 26 Still Road, Monroe, N.Y. 10950.
