Paul Gonzalez, a longtime resident of Chester, NY, died peacefully on April 1, 2025, at the age of 72.

The son of the late Maria and Pablo Gonzalez, he was born in the Bronx on June 18, 1952.

Paul was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. He donated to St. Judes and Shriners Children. 

He is the widower of Linda Gonzalez.

Paul is survived by his children: Andrew of Chester, NY; Sonja of Port Jervis, NY; Elyse of Middletown, NY; Wayne of North Carolina; Nicole of Long Island; Cherryse of New Jersey; Krystal of Middletown, NY; and Staci of Middletown, NY. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and ten nieces and nephews. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings: Marie Gonzalez, Alma Gonzalez, Nicole Gonzalez-Blood, Myra Perez, Nydia Huslinger, and Chim Chorm.

He is predeceased by his siblings, Gladys Rivera-Alvarez and Andrew Rivera.

Visitation will occur on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, NY 10950.

Interment will occur on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 1 pm at the Orange County Veteran's Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.

The family entrusted Paul's care to the Flynn Family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center's staff.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriner's Children or Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
