Mary C. Ierardi, a longtime resident of Chester, NY, died June 27, 2022, at Glen Arden Health Care in Goshen, N.Y. She was 94 years of age.
The daughter of the late Guiseppe and Rose Zollo, she was born on January 3, 1928, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mary was an active member of St Columba R.C. Church, St. Columba Ladies Auvillary, Chester Golden Age Club, and American Legion Ladies Auxilliary.
Mom was a true Matriarch of the family and the last of her generation of ten siblings and will be greatly missed by all.
Mary was the widow of Nicholas A. Ierardi.
She is survived by her son Joseph Ierardi and his wife Kyle of Fredericksburgh, VA, Patrick Ierardi of Dunn, North Carolina, and Barbara Claudio of Warwick, N.Y.
Mary is survived by her grandchildren Michael, Nicolas, Samuel, Joseph Ierardi, and Dylan Claudio and her great-grandchildren Grayson, Kenzie, and Madison Ierardi, along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved her very much.
A wake will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.
Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Orange County Veterans Cemetery at 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.
Funeral care is under the supervision of Thomas & Brendan Flynn and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.
