Margaret Maverick, a longtime resident and active community member of Monroe and Tuxedo, N.Y., died peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Nyack, N.Y., on August 21, 1931, the daughter of the late Brian and Elizabeth Kholer.
Margaret was the widow of James Maverick and pre-deceased by her son James, Jr..
She is survived by her beloved sister, Rosemary, her husband, Kevin, and their children, Sean, Gerard, and Kevin.
Cremation care will be provided by Brendan & Thomas Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory.
The family entrusts Margaret's care to the Flynn Family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center staff.
