On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, Louise Galeoto, loving wife and mother of four children, passed away at age 83.


Louise was born on November 30, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York to Eugene and Louise (Bagnasco) Mammi.

Louise attended high school in Brooklyn and Valley Stream, NY and NYC Community College where she met husband Michele (Mike) Galeoto and majored in medical lab technology. On July 26, 1959, she married Michele Galeoto. They raised two daughters, Diane and Catherine and two sons, David and James.

Louise had a passion for the seaside and loved collecting shells and beach stones. She was an avid baker and a talented seamstress and knitter. She was also a voracious reader and loved a good mystery novel. Louise had a green thumb and for many years tended to a plentiful vegetable garden.

Louise was preceded in death by her father, Eugene and mother, Louise. She is survived by her husband Michele, her four children, Diane, Catherine, David and James and four grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Yianni and Nicholas.
