Laurie Rosario, of Monroe, NY, passed away, on February 3, 2024, at the age of 70.

Laurie Widmayer Rosario was born on March 23, 1953, in Ridgewood, NJ to Frederick W. Widmayer Jr and Jane Borden Widmayer Fellows. She grew up in Glen Rock, NJ, and attended Glen Rock High School. After completing her education, she became a long-time resident of Oakland, NJ, where she raised her family. Laurie worked at Captive Fasteners Corp. and there she met her devoted husband of 22 years, Miguel Rosario. Later, Laurie and Mike moved to Monroe, NY.

Laurie is pre-deceased by her parents and her older brother, Rick W. Widmayer of Tempe, AZ. She has left behind her two children, Jessica (Bob) Annunziato and Gianmarco (Amy) Giorgi, as well as her three stepchildren, Miguel (Diane) Rosario, Jesus (Linda) Rosario, and Michelle (Dan) Rooney. She was so loved by her four grandchildren, Kari, Laci, Alexandra & Gwendolyn, who called her Mimi. Four step-grandchildren, John, Daniel, Antonio & Alexia. And two step-great-grandchildren, Penelope & Elle.

Laurie loved to spend time with her family, enjoying Friday nights outside by the fire, and often vacationed with Mike and his family in Puerto Rico. Laurie's bright smile and laughter will be missed beyond measure.

A memorial service will be held on February 10, 2024, at 1 pm at Ponds Reformed Church, located at 341 Ramapo Valley Road in Oakland, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Ponds Church, https://pondsnj.org/giving/ or https://www.stjude.org/donate
