John T. White
Central Valley, N.Y.
John T. White, a former longtime South Blooming Grove resident and more recently a Central Valley, N.Y. resident, died peacefully at his residence at 85.
John retired as Vice President of Chase Manhattan Bank in Manhattan.
John was a founding member of the South Blooming Grove Fire Department and a listed Charter Member, and he served his department as Treasure and Chief of the Fire Police.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Marion White, and is survived by his second wife, Barbara White, along with a son John H. White and daughter Caroline White and a step daughters Linda Auchard and her husband Vic Auchard, and Laura Aguiar who all survive him.
John is further survived by his brother Robert White.
Services will be private.
Cremation occurred at Oxford Hills Crematory under the immediate care and supervision of Thomas & Brendan Flynn.
The White family entrusted Funeral Care to FLYNN FUNERAL & CREMATION MEMORIAL CENTERS.
