September 10, 1963 — June 20, 2018

Jill Ann LaTassa of Chester, NY, a License Nurse, for 36 years and a 16-year resident of the area, died on June 20, 2018 at Schriever Pavilion in Warwick, NY. She was 54 years of age. The daughter of Theodore and Barbara Nyberg, she was born on September 10, 1963 in Rockland, New York. She was truly the loveliest woman who devoted her life to helping others. She will be forever missed by our family, and those lucky enough to have known her compassion and respect of others. She enjoyed camping, her dog, and leaving sticky notes for her family. She is survived by her husband Jason LaTassa, and their two children Joseph, and Anastasia LaTassa of Chester, New York, as well as her brother Andrew Nyberg, and his wife Susan McCurrach of Stony Point, NY. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018 during the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Flynn Funeral and Cremation Memorials Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, located at 101 Main Street, Chester, NY 10918.
