Jeannette Varden passed peacefully on June 2, 2021 at her home in Monroe, NY. She was 91 years old. Jeanette was born in March of 1930, to the late James E. Monaghan and Mary Jane McKiernan Monaghan, in Bronx, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, John Varden; sisters, Mary Ann Harris and Margaret Schobel; and brother, James Monaghan. She was the loving mother of two daughters, Margaret and her husband Gerald Jones, and Elizabeth and her husband Neal Navarra; and beloved grandmother of 8 grandchildren: Genera, Nicky, Frank and Sal Navarra, and Gerald, Dyan, Sarah, and William Jones; and two great-grandchildren, Joseph and Eliza Anchondo. She will be missed by her family and numerous friends. A private cremation occurred at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., in Chester, NY. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas & Brendan Flynn and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.
