Herbert T. Shaw, a longtime resident of Sloatsburg and Monroe, N.Y., died peacefully on October 8, 2024, in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York City, N.Y.
Herbert was the son of the late Herbert and Lily Magan Shaw and was born in Suffern, New York, on October 16, 1940.
Herbert worked for Con Edison Power Company for Thirty years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cathryn, and their children, Matthew and Owen Shaw.
A Life Celebration will be held at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers at a date to be announced. Once all details are confirmed, our website will be updated with the visitation information.
Cremation care for Herbert was provided by Brendan & Thomas Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY.
The family entrusted the care of Herbert's services to the Flynn family and staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.
