It is with our heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hector Manuel Caraballo, at the age of 61, a long-time resident of Highland Mills, NY.

Born in the Bronx, Hector was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He lived a life filled with passion and love.

He will be remembered for his selflessness, love for life, and deep devotion to those he cared about. Hector's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Maritza, two sons, Hector and Jonathan, bonus daughter, Melinda, and granddaughter, Alicea. 

A man with a kind heart and a generous spirit, Hector dedicated his life to his family. After more than 30 years of dedicated service, he retired from Verizon. He was a loving father who always put his family first, providing unwavering support and guidance, mentoring as a coach to many Monroe-Woodbury Little Leaguers. He was always ready to lend a hand or offer a kind word to those in need. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 1 pm to 5 pm at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.

The family entrusted Hector's care to the Flynn family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers staff.
