George Petrich of Little Neck, NY, passed away on September 10, 2021, at Calvary Hospital , in Bronx, NY. He was 82 years of age. Born in Queens, NY, he was the son of Joseph and Helen Petrich. He worked for many years at Eastern Airlines, and then prior to retirement, he also worked for Aetna-US Healthcare. George was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Eastern Airlines Retirees Association. George was predeceased by his wife, Marie E. Petrich. Survivors include his sons Joseph Petrich along with his wife Frances of Monroe, NY and their daughters Maggie and Kiera, and John Petrich along with his wife Carmelina of Patchogue, NY and their children Vanessa, Desiree and Anthony; his brother Joseph Petrich and his wife Patricia; and his sister Jean Nolin and her husband Hank. In addition to his wife, George was predeceased by his sister Patricia Bremer and her husband Conrad. Please keep George and his family in your prayers during this difficult time. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Sebastian R.C. Church on Saturday September 18, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Saint Sebastian is located at 58-02 Roosevelt Avenue in Woodside, NY 11377. Inurnment will follow at 12:00 PM at St. John's Cemetery located at 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue in Middle Village, N.Y. 11379.
