Francesca Viola, beloved mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, passed away on November 1st. Francesca was born on September 1st, 1965 to the late Giuseppe and Joan Viola. She was 54. She had a knack for loving and taking care of people, which lead her to become a nurse. In both Good Samaritan Hospital and North-Central Bronx Hospital, she demonstrated compassion for her patients, dedication to her profession, and respect to her coworkers. Anyone who interacted with her would recall her kind heart and nature, which made it impossible not to become her friend. Francesca was the mother of Christopher and Isabella Peralta. She was the sister of Maria Collins (Gregory), Enrico Viola (Debra), Edward Viola (Jennifer), and Maria-Theresa Rose (Steven). She was the aunt of Kayla Glander (Sean), Chelsea Collins (Sean Brennan), Carly Collins, and Conor, Justine, Andrew, and Joseph Viola, Lucca Viola, Steven, Kelly, and Joanie Rose. She was the niece of Adelaide Elliott. She was a great-aunt, a cousin, and an extended family member and friend to more people than could be named. Francesca was loved by many, and her love and friendship will be irreplaceable. With an infectious laugh, a loud voice that often carried through a room, and a beautiful soul, Francesca has left those who survived her with many happy memories. She cared for more than just patients in hospitals; she nursed broken hearts back to health, brought comfort and advice to those in pain around her, and she was known to find and care for every stray animal in need. Though she had to leave so young , she filled all of her 54 years with more love and kindness than many people can ever achieve in even 100 years. Francesca will be missed and loved by all who have been left behind. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, during the hours of 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass is being planned for Wednesday, November 6, 2019, 10 am at Sacred Heart R.C. Church located at 26 Still Road, Monroe, New York 10950. Burial of cremains will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery located at 10 West Stevens Avenue, Valhalla, New York.
