Dorothy Durma Liseski Romer, a longtime resident of Chester, NY, who later retired to Harleysville, PA, passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 91. 

The daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Durma, she was born on March 18, 1934, in Chester, NY.

 Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper for Camp LaGuardia for the City of New York. 

She was the widow of Stanley J. Liseski and George H. Romer. 

She is survived by her children, Steven Liseski (Lu Ann) of Mooresville, NC, and Susan Liseski Black (Robert) of Harleysville, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Katelynn, Kieran, and Duncan Liseski of North Carolina, Robert and William Black of Pennsylvania, as well as several nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph R. Durma. 

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Monday, August 25, 2025, at St. Columba R.C. Church, 27 High Street, Chester, NY. 

Burial will follow at St. Columba R.C. Cemetery, 3335 NY-93, Chester, NY 10918.
