Dieter Richard Lange, a longtime resident of Chester, NY and a retired Technical Operations Manager at Ford Motor Company passed away on April 22, 2018 at his residence. He was 80 years of age He was born in Torgau, Germany on May 30, 1937. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be deeply missed. Dieter is survived by his wife Ingeborg Lange, his daughters Suzanne Lange Ahmed and her husband Imran Ahmed of Damascus, PA, and Patricia Trail of Middletown, NY. His granddaughters Kari Trail and her fianc Anton Diaz of Chester, NY and Melissa Knapp and her husband Zachary Knapp of Beach Lake, PA. As well as 2 great grandchildren Arianna Crance and Ryan Knapp. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018, during the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 3 Hudson Street, Chester, New York 10918. Interment of his Cremated Remains will follow at Chester Community Cemetery, Chester, NY.
