Dave Lucio Serville passed away on February 1, 2022, at Garnett Health Medical Center, in Wallkill, NY.
He was 68 years old.
Dave was the son of Erline and Hugh Serville, he was born in Trinidad, West Indies on December 13, 1953.
Dave attended St. Marys College in Trinidad before moving to America with his mother and family in April, 1970.
In 1971 Dave joined the Natio of Islam, he ignited his sister, Delias interest to find out the truth about her origins.
Dave was one of four children, he was the only son, the only brother, his sisters has fond memories of growing up in Trinidad together.
Dave is survived by his sisters, Delia Serville and Marina Serville Harrison, his nieces , Zaafira Muhammad, Taahira Seville, Melissa Harrison, Christina Harrison, his nephews, Salaahuddiyn Serville, Nigel Greer Sr. and his many great-nieces and great-nephews.
A family statement reads, My brother Dave is my hero. I love him dearly. Peace and Blessings upon you Dave. May your ancestors guide you home safely.
Cremation will occur at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, N.Y under the care of Thomas & Brendan Flynn
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers Inc.
