February 4, 1953 — March 25, 2024

Betty Lynn DeGrote of Cochecton, N.Y., a retired homemaker, died on March 25, 2024, at home with her loved ones at her side as she desired.

Betty was 71 years of age.

The daughter of the late Marcus and Florence Conklin Gulle, Sr., she was born on February 4, 1953, in Middletown, N.Y.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who her family and friends will dearly miss.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney “Rock” DeGrote, Sr, who is at home, and their children.

She is survived by her daughters Rachael (Joe), Janet (Crosby), and Elizabeth (Gene), as well as her sons Rodney (Rebecca) and Corey. Her sister Linda Martel also survives.

15 Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and in-laws also survive Betty.

Betty was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Marcus Gulle, Jr.

Brendan and Thomas Flynn provided cremation care at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc.

The family has entrusted Betty's care to the Flynn Family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center staff.
