Barbara J. Fallon, age 89, passed away peacefully last week. She was born to the late Edward and Josephine Fallon in New York City. She is survived by her brother, Edward M. Fallon, and his wife Barbara M. Fallon, her sister-in-law, Catherine Fallon, widow of her beloved brother, Raymond Fallon, and by her cousin, Antoinette Fallon. Other survivors include 9 nieces and nephews, 13 great-nieces and nephews, and 4 great grand-nieces and nephews. A long-time world traveler, downhill skier, photographer, theater lover, museum enthusiast, and teacher, Barbara's influence will also live on in the lives of the thousands of students she taught, both here in the U.S. and abroad. Friends and family are invited to gather from 9 to 10:30 A.M. on Friday, 12/27/19 at the Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center, 3 Hudson Street, in Chester, NY. A funeral mass will take place at 11:15 AM at St. Columba, 29 High Street, Chester, NY. Burial will follow at the Cemetery of the Gate of Heaven, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Barbara's name to UNICEF, St Jude Children's Research Hospital, DonorsChoose.org, or to the children's charity of your choice.
