Aldo J. Fini, a longtime resident of the area and a retired self-employed Mason and Land Developer, died May 21, 2022, after a long illness.
He was 78 years of age.
The son of the late Giovanni and Rosa Fini was born in Boville Ernica, Italy, in 1943.
Aldo is survived by his loving wife Ines Fini at home and their children: Thomas (Cheryl), Anthony (Tina), and Elizabeth (Jack).
He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren Nicholas, Thomas, Anthony, Giovanni, Angela, Giuliana, Alexander, Ava Ines, and Aleesia.
Aldo is also survived by his siblings Frank and Salvatore Fini, Lucy DePaulis, Pauline Leva, and Rita Cinelli and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Albert Fini.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 10:00 am in St. Columba R.C, Church located at 27 High Street, Chester, NY 10918. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed through Youtube, please search St Columba Church Chester NY for the live stream.
Entombment will follow at 12:30 pm in Cedar Hill Cemetery Mausoleum, located at 5468 Route 9W North, Newburgh, New York 12550.
The care of Aldo has been placed with Thomas & Brendan Flynn and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.
