Agnes Schomber of Goshen, N.Y.

Agnes Schomber of Goshen, N.Y., died on January 31, 2023, at Garnett Medical Center in Wallkill, N.Y.
She was 84 years of age.
Agnes was the daughter of John Massa and Agnes Brown. She was born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and raised her family in Smithtown, Long Island. After spending many years at Leisure Village in Ridge, NY, she moved up to Goshen in 2017.
She was one of nine children and is survived by brothers Joe and wife Peg, Stephen and wife Dorothy, and, Virginia and husband Eric.
Survivors include two sons, Matthew Schomber and his wife Lorraine of Pine Bush, NY, and Russ Schomber and his wife Evelina, of St. Petersburg, FL.
She also survived by two grand-children, Eric Schomber and Marc Schomber.
Before retiring in 2009, Agnes was the office manager for St. Thomas More R.C. Church in Hauppauge, NY for 39 years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 3 Hudson Street, Chester, N.Y. 10918.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. John's the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen, N.Y. 10924.
Cremation will follow at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., under the immediate care and supervision of Thomas & Brendan Flynn.
Funeral care is provided by the Flynn Family and staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 3 Hudson Street, Chester, NY 10918.
